Children of Afghanistan

This girl had taken shrapnel to her leg at some point in her life and now walked with a crudely fashioned crutch and has a terrible limp. Because of that she will probably never get married or have any children of her own. But somehow she stays happy and was laughing and joking with me the entire time that I treated her leg. Granted, I had no idea what she was saying and she also had no idea what I was saying, but it was hilarious. And all the kids loved their pictures. If this girl had been born in any other country she'd have a chance at a good life, education and love. If I could adopt any afghan child, I'd take her with me.
